Private wine tastings, answered.
What happens at a private wine tasting?+
A guided tasting of a small selection of wines chosen around your occasion, your guests and what you already enjoy. Lara pours, gives the context behind each wine — the place, the producer, the way it is made — and answers whatever comes up. It is a conversation, not a lecture, and usually runs between ninety minutes and two hours.
How much is a private wine tasting?+
Each engagement is quoted individually, because the wines, the number of guests, the location and the length of the session all change the cost. Every tasting begins with a short conversation about what you have in mind, and you receive a clear proposal before anything is confirmed.
Can you come to my home?+
Yes. Tastings are regularly hosted in private homes, and also in restaurants, offices, hotels and event spaces. Virtual sessions are available for groups spread across different locations.
How many people can join?+
Private sessions work well from two guests upward, and group tastings are usually kept to around twelve so everyone can taste properly and ask questions. Larger corporate formats can be arranged with a different structure.
How far in advance should we book?+
Three to four weeks is comfortable, and more for a busy season or a tasting that needs wines sourced specifically. Shorter notice is sometimes possible — it is always worth asking.
Do I need any wine knowledge beforehand?+
None at all. Sessions are built around the level of the people in the room, whether that is complete beginners or a hospitality team that already works with wine every day.
Are the wines included?+
Wines can be sourced and brought by Lara, or selected from your own cellar. Both approaches are common, and the proposal makes clear which one applies.
Can food be served alongside the wines?+
Yes. Where food is central to the experience, Lara works alongside co-founder, chef and culinary consultant Karla Perez so the pairings are designed from both the wine and the culinary side.
